American Alliance Registration

The Paradisus Palma Real Resort is an all suites, all inclusive resort. The nightly room rate will include breakfast, lunch, dinner, beverages, and all applicable taxes and gratuities including all food and beverage served at hotel restaurants and from room service. The food and beverage portion of the room rate ($310 single, $363 double) is $52.50 per person per night.

Children ages 0 to 12 years of age will not be charged as long as they share the same room with their parents. Maximum occupancy per  room is 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults and one child. Occupancy of the same room by four adults is not allowed. After the first two adults, if the the third person  in the the room is a child 13 and over, there is a $100 per night supplemental charge which includes food and beverage. For a third adult there is a supplemental charge of $145 per night which includes food and beverage.

In accordance with the DOL regulations, the fund cannot pay for meals for your guest(s). Therefore, if you are sharing a room with a guest who is not a conference registrant, their $52.50 per night food and beverage charge will be added to your room bill and must be paid or reimbursed by you personally. In regard to Unions, you should review your constitution and by-laws to determine whether the Union can pay these costs.

Fees: The registration fee of $1,495 plus one nights room deposit is payable in advance and includes the cost of all meeting materials, breakfast, coffee breaks, and reception.

CLE Credits: Application for accreditation of the program in New York is currently pending.

Financial aid in the amount of a 10% reduction from the conference registration fee will be provided to New York attorneys.

Unions and Employee Benefit Plans subject to ERISA are prohibited from paying expenses of family members and guests who are not attending the meetings on plan business, and from paying any personal expenses.

How to Receive Priority Treatment When You Reserve Hotel Space 

The American Alliance does not guarantee hotel accommodations for registrations received after April 4, 2012. To make a reservation complete the Registration and Hotel Reservation Form together with your registration fee and one night's room deposit for each room reserved payable to the American Alliance Conference, Ltd. to guarantee hotel accommodations.

Registration must be received  before April 4, 2012, after which time registration will be accepted on a space available basis.

Payment Instructions: Make all checks for Registration and Hotel payable to: American Alliance Conference, Ltd..(This includes participants from the Educational Conference.)

CANCELLATIONS AND SUBSTITUTIONS

Cancellations made before April 4, 2012 will be subject to a $350 administrative charge.
Substitutions may be made at any time.
Requests for cancellations must be in writing. Late Cancellation fee $695.00. No Show - No Refund.
